I think I’ve always had a love for theater, and I have Upper Darby Summer Stage (and my parents, for bringing me there) to thank for a lot of that. Summer Stage is a wonderful community organization dedicated to spreading the love of theater to young people in Upper Darby and the surrounding areas.
Summer Stage celebrates their 40th season this year, and as a kick-off to the celebrations, alumni and current members of their outreach group Shooting Stars held a reunion gala event. Part fundraiser, part get-together, and part performance, this fun filled event was fantastic from beginning to end. One of my favorite moments was seeing my friends get up there and sing and dance, and especially seeing my younger brother Dan re-enact his infamous Toe Touch during the big Swing Medly (for being a few years removed from the group, he can still get some good height!)
I got a lot of great photos from the night – here is just a selection!
